Personal Effectiveness Programme

People tend to have their own way of doing things which is a person’s natural talent or working style. When people are given insight into this and how it affects the way they do their job, the resultant change in response will be better for themselves and the organisation.

While people use Microsoft Outlook for emails and perhaps setting appointments they do not understand how to use it as a powerful a business tool.

program enables individuals to align their natural working style with their expected work outcomes thereby enhancing capacity to perform expected roles with less negative stress and more personal satisfaction. Also need to be taught how to use Microsoft Outlook as an effective business tool to drive their role.

When individuals understand the organisation’s vision, business plan and what is required from them within their role. They become more proactive, less reactive and develop the art of delegating up, down and across.

This means they can pass the hallway test of, when you stop a staff member in the hallway and ask them what are they doing right now and what part of the organisation business plan is it?  They answer by quoting their Task and it’s relevance to the organisations outcomes.

All of this is achieved in the Huse Hill Associates Outlook to Effectiveness© program which starts with two questionnaires; one to establish/audit where the person is before training starts and the second questionnaire to create their “Natural Working Style©” profile report. Attendees then participate in a workshop where the necessary knowledge, skills and insights are imparted. This is followed by two personal coaching sessions. These one-on-one sessions as part of the personal effectiveness program enable the person to deploy the new insights into their day to day work.
